There's a bunch of stuff announced, particularly on their Assassin's Creed franchise.
Assassin's Creed Infinity
This is not a game per se but as Ubisoft's Marc-Alexis Côté describes:“the single entry point for our fans into the Assassin’s Creed franchise into the future [...] a hub that will unite all our different experiences and our players together in meaningful ways.”
Further details can be gleaned from this interview with Eurogamer where he described it as a hub where Assassin's Creed games can be accessed.
This is the "next premium flagship title and the future of our open-world RPG games" according to Marc-Alexis Côté, set in feudal Japan.
Assassin's Creed Codename Hexe
This is another title in the franchise but is described as "a new flagship title" and a "very different type of Assassin's Creed game". It is unknown where this is set but IGN speculates that it may be set in Europe Germany, because Hexe means witch in German.
Assassin's Creed Jade
This is a game on mobile devices, set in ancient China. The year of the setting is 215 BCE, and apparently you can create your own protagonist. This will place the game during the Qin Dynasty, after Qin Shi Huang (秦始皇) unified the warring states.
Assassin's Creed and Netflix mobile game
They have also announced another mobile game separate from Jade, a tie up between Ubisoft and Netflix. This will be available to those with a Netflix subscription
Assassin's Creed Live-Action series on Netflix
A new series based on the franchise. Little is known yet but it is good to see that they are not giving up on bringing the IP to the big/little screen, after the meh performance of the Assassin's Creed movie that starred Michael Fassbender
Assassin's Creed Mirage
Moving on from vague reveals, this is the full release of the next main title in the franchise, set in Baghdad 20 years after Assassin's Creed Valhalla. The main character is Basim Ibn Ishaq and the magnificent Shohreh Aghdashloo voices the character of Roshan, his mentor.
Assassin's Creed Mirage is slated for launch in 2023 on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, PC, and Amazon Luna
Assassin's Creed Valhalla: The Last Chapter
This is a free update to Assassin's Creed Valhalla, tying up the loose ends of Eivor's story.
Also, Mythic Quest is back!
That's a lot of Assassin's Creed to satisfy the hungriest fan. It also speaks to the resources a big corporation can marshal. The projects are worked on by different Ubisoft studios.
Red: Ubisoft Quebec
Hexe: Ubisoft Montreal
Mirage: Ubisoft Bordeaux
As we can see from the Paying Hard Netflix show on the making of For Honor, the amount of resources and time making a triple A game is daunting. This will be something to watch, if you are interested in the company.
