Tornetta v. Musk, 2018-0408, Delaware Chancery Court (Wilmington)

Richard Tornetta, a Tesla shareholder, sued Elon Musk and in 2018 over the award of his pay package and alleged that the board was not independent when it happened. The trial took place in 2022 and the post-trial argument took place on Tuesday 22 Feb, in the Court of Chancery Delaware.

The trial is significant because the pay package awarded share options to Elon Musk and is a major source of his wealth.
