Nintendo's Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom final trailer

The latest and final Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom trailer just dropped

Reactions so far are very positive. There are reactions to the seemingly minor stuff like bucket head and also the reveal that Ganondorf is the big bad.

Side note, Matthew Mercer of Critical Role fame is voicing Ganondorf.

The game launches on 12 May 2023 (a Friday) and according to Polygon, will retail at USD 69.99. A collector's deluxe edition will retail at USD 129.99 including a concept art booklet, a steel book case, a poster, and a set of 4 enamel pins.

It will be interesting to Nintendo investors, but it is looking good so far, not just from the trailer reactions. According to an earlier report in March, pre orders for Tears of the Kingdom are higher than Breath of the Wild in Japan. The caveat here is that the data then was from a single chain of game stores in Japan and it has relatively small market share.

Nonetheless, exciting times continue for Nintendo fans and investors.
